### Moving your fediverse account to another instance
  
### Move to pixelfed
  
#### Add alias to old account 
  
First go onto your Profil:

Next, tap on your Settings:

Scroll down an go for "Manage account alias":

On the bottom where it says "Old Account" tipe in your id of the old account from which you want to move from:

Now you are ready to prepare your old account...  
  
  
### Move from Mastodon
  
#### Add alias to new account
  
First step is to switch to your settings. Here you tap on Accountsettings:

The third option from the bottom says "Move to another account":

Tipe in the id of your new account:

Now the migration of your followers should start. Depending on the amount of followers it will take some time...  
Get a tea and watch your followers moving to your new account.
